Why Energy Start-Ups Dubai?

Energy Startup Hub at MEE has a prominent focus on energy industry innovation. Working together with key influential stakeholders, the 2021 innovation hub will host some of the best ideas this generation has to offer to the industry and help bring investors and government as part of the judging panel.

This year we will host several startup from the off-grid distributed renewable energy industry.

MEE is calling all start-ups and SMEs in the field of Energy to apply to
be a part of our new exciting feature. As Energy is leading the way when it comes to disruptive changes, this is a chance for SME’s to showcase their innovations to a panel of industry experts, and an audience of potential investors.

SME applies for programme in advance via our website. Criteria is: start-up, SME or proof of concept, as long as they are innovative!

The concept

SMEs can start applying by filling in the application form and send it back to us at [email protected].

  • Applicants can apply online by completing the entry form, subject to qualifying criteria 
  • Top 40 applicants will be short-listed by our judging panel and invited to present a 5 minute pitch during MEE online which takes place during 17 May-9 June (during the relevant sector week)
  • The winner will be selected and invited to do a 20 minute pitch during the Global Energy & Utilities Forum held alongside Middle East Energy, where our judges, investors and global energy audience will be in attendance
  • The winners expenses will be covered by our Supporting Partner - Schneider Electric (up to a value of $2,000)
  • Deadline: All applications to be submitted on or before 30th April

The winner will be announced during the last day of MEE Online.
