Depending on your nationality, you may be eligible for visa-free entry, require a standard UAE visa supported by an invitation letter, or need additional assistance with approvals and documentation. Explore these three routes to find the option that best matches your circumstances before beginning your visa application.
Eligible for a visa on arrival?
Nationals of 45+ countries are eligible for a UAE visa on arrival. If your nationality is one of them, you can travel without arranging visa support in advance. Check the official eligibility list of countries to confirm the requirements that apply to your nationality before booking your trip.
Need an invitation letter for visa application?
If you require an official invitation letter to support your UAE visa application, then you can request one from the Middle East Energy team once your event registration has been confirmed.
Require additional visa support?
For more complex requests, including applications from restricted nationalities, our visa partner Al Rais can provide guidance on documentation requirements and application procedures as an additional paid service.

Visa support services provided by Al Rais Travel are subject to a separate service fee. This fee is charged independently of any UAE visa fees and should be confirmed directly with Al Rais Travel before proceeding with your application.
How it works
Five clear steps from submission to approval, with Al Rais coordinating directly with the Dubai World Trade Centre and the UAE immigration authorities on your behalf.
Pre-approval processing typically requires up to four weeks, as internal approvals from the immigration security committee are mandatory. Visa processing times for restricted nationalities are longer than standard processing and may take between 10 and 15 working days. For certain African countries, visa processing requires additional time, as further approvals from different departments are necessary.
Step 01 · Submit your documents
You start by submitting your documents here and commence the application process.
Step 02 · Pre-approval secured
In accordance with immigration authority requirements, we must obtain pre-approval before processing visas for restricted nationalities. To secure this pre-approval, we arrange a nomination letter for you in Arabic from the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Step 03 · Processing begins
We begin processing the pre-approval upon submission of the required supporting documents. Please refer to the general requirements for a UAE exhibition visa.
Step 04 · Escalation if needed
During visa processing, some applications may be rejected. In such cases, we escalate these matters with the immigration authorities to seek approval.
Step 05 · Approval and travel
Following this process, visa approval is guaranteed unless the applicant has any security-related issues.
